Safeguarding
We are committed to helping everyone feel safe, welcomed and cared for in our church community, especially children and adults who may be more vulnerable. Our pastoral care is offered with kindness, respect and sensitivity to each person’s needs.
We work alongside the safeguarding charity Thirtyone:eight, who provide guidance and independent support to help us maintain good safeguarding practice.
Safeguarding is part of the everyday life of our church. This includes thoughtful recruitment of staff and volunteers, appropriate DBS checks where needed, and ongoing safeguarding training.
If you ever have a concern about the wellbeing of a child or an adult who may be vulnerable, please share this with our Safeguarding Co-ordinator, Judith Yelverton, who will listen and help ensure the right support is in place.
